NHIA drivers hold engagement with CEO, commend management for addressing challenges
Drivers at the headquarters of the National Health Insurance Authority(NHIA) on Monday held an impromptu engagement with the Chief Executive Officer(CEO), Dr Victor Bampoe, to discuss workplace concerns and express appreciation for recent management interventions.
The interaction, described as a friendly “ambush,” took place as the CEO arrived at the office, with the drivers using the opportunity to raise issues affecting their work while also commending the Authority’s leadership for resolving longstanding challenges.
According to Dr. Bampoe, the concerns raised formed part of ongoing efforts to improve operational efficiency within the Authority.
He expressed gratitude to the drivers and staff for their dedication and commitment to delivering on the institution’s mandate.
He also acknowledged the role of the NHIA’s Executive Management team, attributing recent progress to strong collaboration and teamwork.
Dr. Bampoe reaffirmed management’s commitment to maintaining open lines of communication with staff as the Authority works toward advancing government’s broader healthcare agenda.
