An object that appears to be a casket has been spotted arriving at the funeral grounds for the late Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo Kantanka at Gomoa Mpota in the Central Region.

The object was drapped in what looked like a flannel cloth, and conveyed in the cargo bed of a white, unbranded Toyota Hilux pickup truck, which drove into the funeral venue on Thursday.

Classfmonline.com spotted the scene in a Dadzie TV social media video.

The arrival of the pickup truck comes amid uncertainty over the whereabouts of Apostle Kwadwo Safo's body and an ongoing dispute over his burial.

Funeral preparations have continued despite a High Court injunction restraining the burial.

It remains unclear whether the object being transported in the pickup truck is the casket containing the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo's remains.
