President John Dramani Mahama has visited the construction site of the La General Hospital in the Greater Accra Region to assess progress on the project.

The visit forms part of the President’s efforts to monitor key infrastructure developments in the health sector and ensure timely completion of critical facilities.

During the inspection, President Mahama was briefed by project engineers and officials on the current status of work, challenges encountered, and timelines for completion.

The redevelopment of the La General Hospital is expected to significantly improve healthcare delivery in the La and surrounding communities, providing modern facilities and expanded services to residents.

The President reiterated government’s commitment to strengthening the country’s healthcare infrastructure and ensuring that projects of national importance are completed to serve the needs of the public.
