GSFP holds national workshop to improve operations and payment systems
The Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) has convened a four-day national workshop in Accra for its 16 Regional Coordinators and their secretaries, as part of efforts to strengthen operations and improve efficiency.
The workshop, which began on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, is taking place at the Accra City Hotel and is expected to end on Friday, April 17, 2026.
According to programme officials, the meeting aims to undertake a comprehensive review of GSFP operations while ensuring proper alignment of regional data to support accurate and timely payment processes.
Key objectives of the workshop include identifying operational gaps and challenges, validating and harmonising regional data, and standardising data management and reporting practices across all regions.
Participants are also working to strengthen coordination between accounts, operations, and other relevant units, as well as improve the integrity of the programme’s payment systems to minimise discrepancies.
