Ghana Free Zones Authority donates GHS300,000 to support “Heal Ghana Month” campaign
The ongoing “Heal Ghana Month” initiative by the Ghana Medical Trust Fund has received a significant boost with a GHS300,000 donation from the Ghana Free Zones Authority.
The contribution will support the Fund’s work in assisting Ghanaians battling Non-Communicable Diseases and expanding access to specialised healthcare nationwide.
During a recent visit to the Authority, the Fund’s Administrator, Adwoa Obuobia Darko-Opoku, was warmly welcomed by CEO Dr. Mary Awusi, alongside the Board, management, and staff of GFZA.
The occasion also celebrated Adwoa Obuobia Darko-Opoku’s previous contributions as Deputy CEO of the then Ghana Free Zones Board and highlighted her pivotal role in the growth and transformation of the institution.
The partnership underscores the continued collaboration between public institutions to strengthen healthcare delivery in Ghana. The Ghana Medical Trust Fund expressed gratitude for the support, noting that such contributions are vital to saving lives and improving health outcomes across the country.
The GHS 300,000 donation marks a renewed commitment by the GFZA to support national healthcare initiatives and reinforces the Fund’s mission to provide critical medical assistance to those in need.
