MoH scales up governance and training in Health institutions
The Ministry of Health is ramping up efforts to improve leadership, accountability, and training quality in Health Training Institutions (HTIs).
A corporate governance and capacity-building workshop focused on "Strengthening Leadership and Institutional Excellence" is part of ongoing reforms to build a skilled health workforce.
Deputy Health Minister, Prof. Dr. Grace Ayensu-Danquah, emphasised HTIs' crucial role in shaping Ghana's healthcare future, stressing the need for specialised skills and integration of technology and innovation.
The Ministry is pushing for transparency and accountability in public resource management, with the Director of Human Resources, Mr. Fred Acheampong, highlighting strong corporate governance as key to a resilient health system.
