NHIA to host roundtable discussion on workplace mental health
The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) is set to host a roundtable discussion as part of activities marking Mental Health Awareness Month under the theme, “Mental Health in the Workplace.”
The engagement is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the Conference Room of the Ministry of Health in Accra.
According to NHAI, the programme will bring together stakeholders to discuss the importance of mental well-being in professional environments and explore ways of promoting healthier and more supportive workplaces.
The Chief Executive of the NHIA, Victor Asare Bampoe, will deliver the opening remarks at the event.
The Authority noted that the discussion forms part of broader efforts to create awareness about mental health issues and encourage institutions to prioritise the psychological well-being of workers.
The event is expected to run from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will feature conversations focused on workplace mental health challenges, employee wellness and strategies for fostering healthier work environments.
