Baba Jamal Ahmed to be sworn in as MP for Ayawaso East today
Baba Jamal Ahmed is scheduled to be sworn into office at a ceremony to be held at the Parliament House of Ghana on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
The swearing-in ceremony is expected to take place at 1:30 p.m., where the former Member of Parliament will formally assume his new role as Member of Parliament for Ayawaso East in the Greater Accra Region.
Mr. Ahmed, popularly known as Baba Jamal, has served in various public positions in Ghana and remains a well-known figure in national politics.
The event is expected to be attended by government officials, members of the Parliament of Ghana, party executives and other invited guests.
