STMA to inauagurate Essikado-Ketan Sub-Metro office to boost local governance
The Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA) has announced plans to inaugurate a new office complex for the Essikado-Ketan Sub-Metropolitan District Council in the Western Region.
The facility, located within the Sekondi-Takoradi metropolis, is expected to enhance local governance and improve service delivery to residents in the area.
According to the Assembly, the project forms part of ongoing efforts to decentralise administrative services and bring governance closer to the people.
Officials say the new office will improve administrative efficiency and support community development initiatives within the sub-metropolitan area.
The Assembly has invited the general public to attend the opening ceremony, describing the project as a significant step toward strengthening local governance structures in the metropolis.
