The Municipal Chief Executive of Wassa Amenfi East Municipal Assembly in the Western Region, Raymond Nana Ebbah, has used an interview on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ghana Yensom morning show to highlight a string of projects in the municipality, praise President John Mahama’s interventions, and map out works still underway.

Speaking with host Chief Jerry Forson (CJ), Ebbah opened by commending the President for developments credited to his administration, including two CHP compounds that serve as children’s wards, built by Obeng Mining.

Ebbah then turned to initiatives recorded since he assumed office.

He said an ambulance had been donated in his name within his first 10 months as MCE, a gesture he linked to growing community support. #

He outlined a plan for a mini stadium, which will require relocating B School to free up the site, and said road construction is being expanded across electoral areas to ease movement for farmers and traders.

On water supply, he reported that 10 of 30 planned boreholes have been completed and are already delivering clean drinking water to households that previously relied on unsafe sources.

Work on the remaining boreholes is ongoing, with contractors active in several communities.

“We have done this and more are yet to come under the leadership of President John Mahama,” Ebbah said, adding that the President’s performance has strengthened public confidence.

He argued that Mahama’s delivery on roads, health infrastructure, and education projects has shifted local sentiment, saying, “There is no next election again because President Mahama is really working.”

Ebbah framed the mini stadium, school relocation, and roadworks as part of a broader push to create jobs for youth and improve social services.
