UK High Commissioner meets British-Ghanaian tech innovator Danny Manu
Madam Sabah Zita Benson, Ghana's High Commissioner to the United Kingdom(UK), has welcomed British-Ghanaian engineer and technology entrepreneur, Danny Manu, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mymanu, a Manchester-based company at the forefront of innovation in communication technology.
Danny Manu is the inventor of the world’s first true wireless earbuds capable of real-time translation across more than 40 languages, a breakthrough that is redefining global communication.
His work has earned international recognition, including being named by Google as one of the world’s inspirational business leaders.
Most recently, Mr. Manu was honoured in the Young Excellence category at the Diaspora Summit 2025, highlighting the growing influence of diaspora entrepreneurs in driving innovation and economic growth on the global stage.
The engagement also explored opportunities for future collaboration in Ghana, particularly in the areas of technology, education and youth empowerment.
Discussions focused on leveraging innovation to create employment opportunities, address real-world challenges, and strengthen skills development among young people.
