Antoine Semenyo joins Black Stars camp in Wales, squad size reaches 25
Forward Antoine Semenyo has arrived in Wales to join the Black Stars squad, bringing the total number of players currently in camp to 25. The team is preparing for Tuesday’s international friendly against Wales and the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Semenyo arrived on Saturday evening and participated in a team mini-golf session at the hotel on Sunday morning. He is scheduled to join the rest of the squad for the evening training session at Dragon Park.
With his arrival, the full list of 25 players currently in camp includes:
- Goalkeepers: Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Joseph Anang, Solomon Agbasi, Paul Reverson
- Defenders: Baba Abdul Rahman, Gideon Mensah, Marvin Senaya, Alidu Seidu, Abdul Mumin, Jerome Opoku, Jonas Adjetey
- Midfielders/Forwards: Elisha Owusu, Kwasi Sibo, Caleb Yirenkyi, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Kamal Deen Sulemana, Benjamin Asare, Christopher Bonsu Baah, Ernest Nuamah, Brandon Thomas-Asante, Prince Kwabena Adu, Jordan Ayew, Thomas Partey, Inaki Williams, and Antoine Semenyo.
The Black Stars will face Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
