GFA partners Metro Mass Transit to transport fans to match venues
President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku, has announced a partnership with Metro Mass Transit to support the transportation of football fans to and from match venues across the country.
According to Okraku, the arrangement will cover matches in the women’s league, Division One League, Ghana Premier League, and games involving the national teams.
“MTT will support the movement of supporters to and from the venues of the women's division and the premier league, including the national teams,” he said.
The partnership is expected to help address transportation challenges faced by supporters, particularly during away matches, and forms part of efforts to improve fan engagement and increase attendance at football matches.
Details on routes and transport costs for supporters are yet to be announced.
