The Club President of Nukunu, Edem Agbana, has held discussions with the Chief Executive Officer of Legacy Rise Sports, Sharaf Mahama, aimed at strengthening sports business collaboration and talent development.

The meeting focused on building strategic partnerships to identify and nurture world-class sporting talent within the Ketu North area, with both parties expressing commitment to expanding opportunities for young athletes.

Mr. Agbana noted that the engagement builds on an existing relationship between the two, recalling that Mr. Mahama was among the early supporters of the Nukunu sports project.

He referenced a friendly match held at the Adjiringanor Astroturf, where the Ketu North team faced Mr. Mahama’s side in what he described as a spirited encounter.

He added that beyond competition, the broader goal remains the development of sports infrastructure and talent pathways that will position Ketu North prominently on the national and international sports map.

According to him, sports remains a key pillar of the wider development agenda for the constituency, alongside other social and economic initiatives aimed at youth empowerment.

The discussions are expected to pave the way for future collaborations in sports development, training, and talent scouting programmes.
