Akwaaba Festival Season 5 to Close Ghana Heritage Month in Accra

Akwaaba Festival Season 5 is set to take over central Accra for the grand finale of Ghana Heritage Month, offering three days of culture, entertainment, and community engagement.

The festival will be held at Tetteh Quarshie Interchange / Accra Mall (Ghud Park) from Friday, 27 March to Sunday, 29 March 2026, with free entry for all attendees.

Festival highlights include:

- The Vibe Fair (Shop Ghana!) – Showcasing local crafts, products, and food from Ghanaian entrepreneurs.

- Ghana Wear Fashion Parade – Featuring vibrant Ghanaian fashion.

- Akwaaba Black Star Awards – Honouring individuals making outstanding contributions to culture and the arts.

- Kids’ Heritage Games & Live MUSIGA Performances – Activities and performances for the whole family.

Under the theme “Our Heritage, Our Pride”, the festival aims to celebrate Ghanaian culture while promoting growth in the local cultural economy.
