Dr Likee reveals Ewe heritage during radio interview
Kumawood actor and social media personality Dr Likee has disclosed that he is of Ewe descent.
Born and based in Kumasi, the comic, known privately as Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi, made the revelation during an appearance on Hitz FM’s morning show, where he spoke about his background and recent activities.
According to the actor, his Ewe roots come from his father. He also demonstrated his ability to speak the language during a light exchange with the show’s host, Kwame Dadzie.
Dr Likee, also known as Aka Ebenezer or Ras Nene, further shared that he spent the Easter period in Vakpo, in the Volta Region's North Dayi district, where he participated in a local festival.
He was responding to a listener who had asked him to describe his experience during his visit to the community.
