GTA congratulates first winner of “Experience Ghana” campaign
The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Gilbert Agreey, has congratulated Evans Nyeeli Wovenu, a member of the Nayelli Travelers Club, for emerging as the first winner of the “Experience Ghana” campaign.
In a congratulatory message, Mr. Agreey commended the winner’s passion for travel and exploration, noting that his submission stood out for showcasing some of Ghana’s most iconic tourism destinations, including the Wli Waterfalls and other cultural experiences.
He said the campaign continues to encourage more Ghanaians and visitors to discover the country’s rich tourism potential and diverse attractions.
Mr. Agreey also expressed appreciation to sponsors and partners of the initiative, including Labadi Beach Hotel, Tang Palace Hotel, Laboma Beach Resort, and Afro Arab Group, for their support in making the campaign a success.
He indicated that the “Experience Ghana” initiative is only the beginning of a series of tourism experiences aimed at promoting domestic tourism and encouraging citizens to explore the country’s natural and cultural heritage.
According to him, more exciting rewards and experiences are expected in the subsequent phases of the campaign, as the GTA intensifies efforts to position Ghana as a leading tourism destination in Africa.
