The 27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) ended with Black Sherif declared the ultimate winner, lifting the Artist of the Year trophy. 

He beat stiff competition from Medikal, Diana Hamilton, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and Wendy Shay.

On the same night, he took home Best Hiphop Song (Where Dem Boys), Best Afropop Song (Sacrifice), Songwriter of the Year (Sacrifice), and Album of the Year (Iron Boy).
