Charterhouse moves 27th TGMAs to Grand Arena tomorrow
Charterhouse Productions, the organizers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), has announced a venue change for the 27th edition of the ceremony.
Originally scheduled for the Palms Convention Centre, the event will now be held at the Grand Arena within the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
According to a press release issued on May 5, the move to the Grand Arena is intended to accommodate the "evolving scale and production ambition" of the awards.
Organisers noted that the venue's larger capacity and technical infrastructure are better suited for the staging and broadcast requirements of the event.
Charterhouse expressed appreciation to its headline sponsor, Telecel Ghana, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture for their support in facilitating the move.
The ceremony is set to begin at 7 PM and will celebrate the latest achievements in the Ghanaian music industry.
