Actress Fella Makafui was captured on camera dancing to a performance by her ex-husband, Medikal, during the 2026 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) held at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre.

Award Wins and Performance

Medikal, an Artiste of the Year nominee, performed a medley of hits including Amanfour Girls and Shoulder.

The latter song earned him two awards earlier in the evening: Hiplife Song of the Year and Collaboration of the Year.

It was during the performance of Shoulder that Makafui was seen on her feet, gleefully dancing along with the audience.

Relationship Background

The public display of support comes after the couple’s high-profile separation.

Fella Makafui and Medikal married in March 2020 and have a daughter, Island. Following rumors of marital strain, the couple confirmed their split in 2024.

Since their separation, the two appear to have maintained a cordial co-parenting relationship, despite their tumultuous breakup. 

The 27th edition of the TGMAs was organised by Charterhouse Ghana.
