Ghanaian Kumawood actor Clement Bonney, popularly known as Mr Beautiful, has shared details about what led to the collapse of his marriage.

Speaking during an interview on Okukuseku the talkshow, hosted by  Emelia Brobbey, the actor revealed that problems in his marriage started after he introduced one of his close friends to his wife.

According to Mr Beautiful, the friendship eventually created misunderstandings and tension in the home.

He alleged that the individual influenced his wife negatively by feeding her false information, which later contributed to the breakdown of the marriage.

The actor admitted that the experience affected him deeply and changed his perception of some people around him.

He claimed the incident made him lost trust in Christians because the friend involved identified as one.

“I don’t trust Christians anymore; they are the most wicked people,” he stated during the interview, adding that he now feels more comfortable around Muslims and people from northern Ghana.

Despite the painful separation, Mr Beautiful disclosed that he still maintains a cordial relationship with his ex-wife. According to him, the two remain in constant communication and often speak every day.

He noted that they still laugh and joke together and had already spoken twice on the day of the interview. However, the actor made it clear that there is no possibility of them getting back together, insisting that the divorce is permanent.
