Kinaata calls on GFA for fair World Cup squad selection
Singer Kofi Kinaata has made a public appeal to the Ghana Football Association (GFA), urging transparency and fairness in the selection process for the final squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
In a message addressed to the GFA and posted on social media, the Play hitmaker expressed concern over the ongoing selection process and called for deserving and active players to be considered.
“We beg waa, we’re waiting for the Final WC 26 Man Squad. If the selection process is ongoing backstage too, kindly make it free and fair for the active deserving players because we all dey watch some,” he said.
The message was signed as coming from “a Patriotic Ghanaian”.
Croatia, drawn in Group L with Ghana, Panama, and England has revealed their 26-man squad.
