Shatta Wale wins 2 awards at 43rd IRAWMA Awards in Florida
Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has won two awards at the 43rd International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) held over the weekend in Florida, USA.
According to a statement issued by the artiste’s management on May 18, 2026, Shatta Wale emerged as a double award winner at the event.
The award-winning musician secured the following honours:
- Best African Dancehall Entertainer
- Concert of the Year for ShattaFest
Management expressed appreciation to the organisers of the IRAWMA Awards for the recognition and continued support for African music on the global stage.
The statement also thanked fans across the world, particularly members of the Shatta Movement fraternity, for their support, votes and dedication over the years.
