'Sun Swagga': Black Sherif announces live concert at iconic New York City centre
Ghanaian music star Black Sherif has announced a live concert in New York City called Sun Swagga.
The event is scheduled for August 1, 2026, according to promotional artwork released ahead of the event, it will take place at the 120-year-old, 35,000-square-foot and two-tiered Hammerstein Ballroom at the Manhattan Center, New York.
Organisers also announced that early bird tickets for the event have sold out.
The concert is being presented in collaboration with Road Boys Association (RBA) and Safcom Group.
The upcoming event is expected to bring together fans of the artiste in the United States for a live performance in one of New York City’s notable entertainment venues.
The Sun Swagga live concert is the Popstar hitmaker's first major event after his historic victory at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) 2026, where he was crowned Artist of the Year (AoTY) for the second time, tying with icons like rapper Sarkodie and singer Stonebwoy. Sherif's first AoTY win was in 2022.
