The Divine Healer's Church has held its 2026 Easter convention at Kpone Main Lorry Station in Tema New Town, with a strong focus on youth development and spiritual growth.

The three-day convention, themed “By the blood of His cross peace was made” (Colossians 1:19–20), featured Bible studies, prayer sessions, and outreach activities targeted at young people in the Kpone Katamanso area.

Head Pastor, Rev. Solomon Afotey Mensah, used the occasion to call on churches to design programmes that attract and engage the youth. He emphasized the need for impactful and relevant initiatives that can transform young lives and draw them closer to the teachings of Christianity.

Rev. Mensah also advised young people to surrender their lives to Christ, stressing the importance of spiritual guidance in navigating life’s challenges.

The Member of Parliament for Tema East, Isaac Ashai Odamtten, commended the church for its role in shaping the moral values of the youth.

He noted that a significant proportion of the church’s membership comprises young people, highlighting its impact on the community.

He encouraged the youth to remain hopeful, pursue education, and take advantage of available opportunities to improve their future prospects.

He added that with the right support, young people can grow into responsible leaders and contribute meaningfully to national development.

The convention ended with a renewed call for stronger collaboration between religious institutions and stakeholders to empower young people and promote positive values in society.
