E/R: Police arrest suspect over Soronko Farms murder
The Ghana Police Service has arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of a 56-year-old man at Soronko Farms near Obomofodensua in the Suhum Municipality of the Eastern Region.
The suspect, identified as Eric Kenny, is alleged to have attacked the deceased, Enoch Obiri, on February 13, 2026.
Police say the victim sustained multiple stab wounds during the incident.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the suspect had previously issued threats against the deceased over an alleged relationship involving his wife. He was also reportedly seen in the area on the day the incident occurred.
The suspect is currently in police custody assisting with investigations and is expected to be put before court in due course.
Authorities say investigations are ongoing.
