MP revives road projects in Asuogyaman, cuts sod for Asukwao road
The Member of Parliament for Asuogyaman, Thomas Ampem Nyarko, has announced the revival and expansion of key road projects aimed at improving connectivity within the constituency.
According to the MP, the stalled Akosombo–Gyakiti road project has been revived and extended to cover Kudikofe, with the inclusion of the Sapor Road.
Mr. Ampem Nyarko made the disclosure during a visit to Akosombo, where he also cut sod for the construction of the Asukwao road.
He noted that the Asukwao stretch had long been in a deplorable condition, with drivers often refusing to use the route due to its poor state.
The MP assured residents that the new project would restore access to the area and improve transportation, adding that efforts are underway to ensure that all communities within the constituency are accessible.
He noted that the project is part of a broader efforts to address infrastructure challenges and enhance mobility for residents and businesses in the area.
