Electroland Ghana donates mobile security kiosks to Police

Electroland Ghana Limited, a leading electronics dealer has donated five mobile security visibility kiosks to the Ghana Police Service as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility efforts.

The presentation ceremony saw the Head of Marketing and Social Media at Electroland Ghana, Adiza Ibrahim, formally hand over the kiosks to the police.

Speaking at the event, she noted that the company recognises the critical role of the security services in ensuring public safety and maintaining law and order.

She explained that the donation was a way of giving back and supporting the work of the police, particularly in traffic management and public visibility.

Mrs. Ibrahim disclosed that the company plans to deepen its support for the security sector, revealing that Electroland Ghana is currently constructing a police station at the Spintex Coca-Cola Roundabout.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohuno, the Director of the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD), Diana Teye Enninful, expressed appreciation to the company for the gesture.

She described the donation as timely and beneficial, and appealed to other corporate institutions to support the Ghana Police Service in enhancing security and service delivery across the country.

 

The kiosks are expected to improve police visibility and operational efficiency, particularly in traffic control and community policing.
