The Chief Executive Officer of Ghana National Gas Limited Company, Judith Adjoba Blay, has paid a courtesy visit to the Ghana Free Zones Authority(GFZA) as part of efforts to strengthen collaboration in support of Ghana’s industrialisation and energy development agenda.

The meeting, held at the Head Office of the Ghana Free Zones Authority in Accra on Thursday, May 15, 2026, focused on enhancing cooperation between the two institutions to support industrial growth within Ghana’s Free Zones enclaves.

Discussions centred on the strategic importance of natural gas infrastructure in driving industrial productivity and economic growth across the country’s industrial zones.

Officials highlighted the role of Ghana Gas in operating Natural Gas Transmission Pipelines within key industrial areas, including the Tema Export Processing Zone and the Sekondi Industrial Park, where gas is supplied for power generation and industrial operations.

The engagement also explored opportunities to improve energy reliability for existing and prospective industries operating within the Free Zones Industrial Enclaves, while advancing future infrastructure development initiatives.

Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to building stronger partnerships aimed at enhancing industrial productivity, promoting energy security, and supporting sustainable economic growth.
