Minimize partners with Ghanaian stakeholders to scale up e-waste recycling
Minimize, a company focused on e-waste management, is connecting European businesses with Ghanaian infrastructure to promote sustainable recycling practices.
The company's goal is to bring together stakeholders, including scrap dealers, formal recyclers, and informal collectors, to develop projects that support the informal sector while ensuring environmental sustainability.

He said Minimize has collected 20 tons of e-waste in Ghana and is engaging with the informal sector to promote formal recycling practices.
The company has developed software to document e-waste collection, making it easier for scrap dealers to participate.
The project aims to add value to e-waste in Ghana, rather than exporting it.

The initiative is part of efforts to promote refurbishment and recycling in Ghana, with potential benefits for the environment and local communities.
