NHIA CEO meets OAA President over health initiative for Achimota School

The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Victor Bampoe, has held discussions with the President of the Old Achimotans Association (OAA), Joel E. Nettey, on a proposed health initiative for Achimota School.

The meeting took place at the NHIA headquarters, where both leaders explored ways of improving health outcomes through innovative communication strategies and modern media platforms.

Mr. Nettey, who currently serves as Chairman and World President of the International Advertising Association (IAA), is the first African to occupy the position.

He is also a two-term former President of the Advertising Association of Ghana (AAG).

According to Dr. Bampoe, discussions focused on what he described as a “game-changing” health project being championed by the OAA President for their alma mater, Achimota School.

The engagement also examined the role of new media and innovative communication techniques in strengthening public health education and improving healthcare delivery.

 

Dr. Bampoe expressed appreciation for the visit and commended Mr. Nettey for his continued commitment to national development and health advocacy.
