NDC Arcadia branch pays courtesy call on Ghana’s High Commissioner to South Africa
Executives of the Arcadia branch of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) have paid a courtesy call on Ghana’s High Commissioner to South Africa, Benjamin Anani Quashie, at the Chancery in Pretoria.
The visit, which took place on April 15, 2026, provided an opportunity for the delegation to engage the High Commissioner on issues of interest to the branch and to reaffirm their commitment to the government’s Reset Agenda Programme.
During the meeting, the delegation conveyed its support for the policy direction of the government and pledged continued backing for national development efforts.
In his remarks, Mr. Quashie expressed appreciation for the visit and commended the branch for its engagement.
He also highlighted key social intervention programmes being implemented by the government to address the needs of citizens and improve livelihoods.
The High Commissioner further urged members of the branch to remain law-abiding and contribute positively to national development, emphasising the importance of unity and responsible citizenship.
The meeting forms part of ongoing engagements between Ghana’s diplomatic missions and party structures abroad aimed at strengthening collaboration and support for national initiatives.
