YEA CEO Honoured as ‘Mmranteɛhene’ during Sunyani tour
The Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency,(YEA) Malik Basintale, has been honoured with the traditional title of Mmranteɛhene (Youth Chief) of Sunyani in the Bono Region.
The honour was conferred by the Paramount Chief of the Sunyani Traditional Area, Nana Odeefour Ogyeamansan Boahen Korkor II, when the YEA CEO, accompanied by his deputy and management team, paid a courtesy call on the chief as part of an official tour of the area.
During the visit, the Paramount Chief commended the Agency’s leadership for its efforts in promoting sustainable employment opportunities for young people and encouraged the team to sustain its interventions.
In response, Mr. Basintale expressed appreciation for the recognition and warm reception, reaffirming his commitment to expanding youth employment initiatives in Sunyani and across the country.
The Youth Employment Agency says it remains focused on creating sustainable job opportunities and empowering young Ghanaians through various programmes.
