PAOG reschedules 8th Hajj flight check-in and departure at Accra airport
The Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana (PAOG) has announced changes to the check-in and departure schedule for the 8th Hajj flight scheduled for Monday, May 18, 2026, at the Accra International Airport in Accra.
According to a statement issued by the Communications Directorate of Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana, the adjustment was necessitated by unforeseen technical challenges affecting flight operations for the day’s pilgrimage movement.
The Office indicated that all accredited Hajj agents and pilgrims assigned to the 8th flight have been duly informed of the changes.
Under the revised arrangement, check-in is expected to commence at 11:00 a.m., while departure has been rescheduled to 6:00 p.m.
PAOG expressed regret over the inconvenience caused and assured pilgrims and stakeholders that measures are being taken to ensure a smooth and safe travel process.
The Office further urged all affected pilgrims to remain calm and cooperate with officials throughout the revised check-in and departure procedures.
The statement was signed by the Communications Directorate of the Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana.
