Police interdict 5 officers over viral misconduct videos
The Ghana Police Service has interdicted five officers captured in viral videos engaging in conduct deemed to bring the Service into disrepute.
The affected officers are Matthew Blay, Francis Arthur and Eric Osei, all of the Osu Police Station, as well as Amos Deryof the National Protection Unit and Joseph Okyere Asabre of the Obuasi Police District.

According to the service, the officers have been referred to the Police Professional Standards Bureau for investigation in line with internal disciplinary procedures.
The police service stated that it remains committed to professionalism, integrity and accountability, and assured the public that appropriate action will be taken after investigations are concluded.
