National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) Chief Executive, lawyer Eric Adjei has issued a warning to 2Minority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, claiming to expose some alleged under-dealings by the latter.

Eric Adjei claimed to be aware of Afenyo-Markin’s somehow shady "dealings in the government, all of it”.

Speaking on Peace FM's “Kokrokoo” morning show, Adjei said he was holding back his emotions as he addressed the matter.

"Don't go there, Afenyo, don't go there. If he dares, we'll dare him again," he said.

"That man! I don't want to be emotional this morning," he added.

He indicated he is greatly incensed by Afenyo-Markin's recent conduct and allegations.

"It hurts really badly when someone commits to destroying your name," Mr Adjei said.

He went further, making a direct accusation, alleging Afenyo-Markin was into serious corrupt acts.

"We know he is an extortionist so it is better he keeps mute," he said.

He also alleged that Afenyo-Markin is behind a formation of a Right To Information (RTI) team and using this team for other purposes.

"You've set up a team, an RTI team, and they go to every office. When that is done, all of you become negotiators," he said.

Background: The dispute with GoldBod's Sammy Gyamfi

Adjei's comments follow a public back-and-forth between Afenyo-Markin and Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) Chief Executive Officer, Sammy Gyamfi.

Afenyo-Markin had gone after Sammy Gyamfi, claiming GoldBod recorded a $1.7 billion loss in 2025, alleging corruption, and hinting at a burdensome bail term for Gyamfi in the future when the New Patriotic Party (NPP) regains power.

Sammy Gyamfi responded during his turn on the Government Accountability Series programme, saying he would only submit to "onerous bail terms in your (Afenyo-Markin’s) brain”.
