The Member of Parliament for Manhyia South and lawyer for Salomey Awity Bafoh, Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, today, clashed with some officers of the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) while exiting the Accra High Court following his request for a bail for his client.

The lawyer was confronted by some persons who identified themselves as operatives from EOCO and attempted to arrest him but the lawyer vehemently refused the arrest.

"Nobody has sent me a letter...You sent my office a letter. Yes, so I will come in my car. My office is different...You need me at EOCO. You need me at EOCO for what?", he exclaimed.

The lawyer, who was obviously furious by the act by the EOCO officers, resisted them and drove off in his vehicle as he shouted "so, now you want to intimidate the lawyers in this matter?"

This confrontation nearly ended up in chaos.

The EOCO officers however sped off in their car in what appeared to be a chase for the Member of Parliament.
