C/R: Fetish priest arrested after allegedly killing girlfriend for rituals in Awutu Bentum
A fetish priest has allegedly killed his girlfriend in what residents believe to be a ritual-related incident at Awutu Bentum near Bontrase, Central Region.
According to reports from the community, the suspect is accused of taking the life of the woman and removing some of her body parts. He reportedly claimed the act was carried out on the instructions of his gods for ritual purposes.

In the aftermath of the incident, angry members of the community reportedly stormed the priest’s shrine and set it ablaze.
