Asiedu Nketiah praises new Nkosuohene of Agona Kwanyako

The National Chairman of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, joined chiefs, residents, and dignitaries of the Agona Kwanyako Traditional Area over the weekend for the installation ceremony of the newly enstooled Nkosuohene, Dr. Richard Kofi Asiedu, now known as Nana Asiedu Keteke I.

The colourful traditional ceremony brought together members of the community and political stakeholders to witness the formal installation of the new development chief.

Speaking at the event, Asiedu Nketiah commended Nana Asiedu Keteke I for his emphasis on the responsibility of businesses and individuals to give back to the communities that support their operations.

He noted that such a philosophy reinforces the principle that development must be rooted in shared responsibility, accountability, and collective progress.

The NDC National Chairman and Board Chairman for Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) also highlighted the important role of traditional leadership in preserving cultural values, promoting unity, and driving community development across the country.

He further congratulated Nana Asiedu Keteke I on his new title and wished him wisdom and success in his service to the people of Agona Kwanyako.
