Bekwai MP supports various community projects with over 400 bags of cement, streetlights and cash during Easter
In a significant show of solidarity with community-driven initiatives, Hon. Ralph Poku-Adusei, Member of Parliament for Bekwai Constituency, has provided critical support to several communities in his constituency, leveraging the Easter holidays and his birthday to make a tangible impact.
A delegation of New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency executives, led by Constituency Chairman Alex Arko Addai Darkwa, presented cash and building materials to communities undertaking self-initiated projects, underscoring the MP's commitment to fostering grassroots development.
This gesture not only reflects Hon. Poku-Adusei's dedication to his constituents but also his belief in empowering communities to drive their own progress.
The beneficiary communities, including Bogyawe, Abesewa, Ahwiren, Esiase, Bedomase, Akyeremade, Mensaase, Sebedie, Asokwa Tunsuom, Biribiwomanmu, Kokofu, Pampaso, and Sefwi, received various forms of support, including some 400 bags of cement and cash donations, to bolster their fundraising efforts.
Hon. Poku-Adusei's community development initiatives extend far beyond symbolic gestures.
He has spearheaded numerous mechanized water projects, cleared decades-old refuse dumps, and sponsored skills training for over 5,000 youth, demonstrating his commitment to improving livelihoods and creating opportunities.
His partnership with the Mastercard Foundation has empowered hundreds of women with capital to start businesses, while his efforts have facilitated expanded network connectivity, street lighting, and road rehabilitation in several communities.
In the education sector, the MP has introduced the School Starter-Pack Scheme, providing critical support to 100 top-performing BECE students from as a champion of community development and a catalyst for positive change in Bekwai Constituency.
