Interior Minister honoured by NDC Ashanti communications bureau
The Minister for the Interior, Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka, has been honoured with a citation by the Ashanti Regional Communications Bureau of the National Democratic Congress in recognition of his commitment and support to the party in the region.
The delegation, led by the Ashanti Regional Chairman, Augustus Andrews, commended the Minister’s leadership, describing him as one of the most effective Interior Ministers in the country’s history.
They cited ongoing reforms aimed at strengthening transparency, improving logistics for security agencies, and enhancing governance as key achievements under his tenure.
Receiving the citation, Mr Muntaka expressed appreciation for the recognition, describing it as a reflection of collective efforts toward building a secure and prosperous Ghana.
He emphasised that the honour goes beyond personal achievement and underscores a shared commitment to advancing good governance and national development.
The Minister also urged party communicators and supporters to remain disciplined, professional and patriotic in their engagements.
He encouraged them to promote messages that protect Ghana’s national interest while supporting the vision of President John Dramani Mahama.
Mr Muntaka reiterated the government’s commitment to restoring hope and delivering development for all citizens.
