NDC Vice Chairman urges patience over job expectations
The Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Abanga Yakubu Alhassan, has called on party supporters and the youth to remain hopeful despite growing concerns over employment opportunities.
In a message addressed to party members, Mr. Alhassan acknowledged the disappointment being expressed by many supporters who have been demanding jobs, stating that their concerns were justified.
He said he had personally received numerous calls and messages from party faithful, noting that the frustrations being voiced reflect the genuine expectations of young people seeking opportunities and a better future.
According to him, the party leadership recognises the enormous expectations surrounding job creation, stressing that behind every demand for employment is a young person with dreams and a family seeking dignity.
Mr. Alhassan admitted that the situation remains challenging but expressed confidence that the government would work to address the concerns of the grassroots.
He stated that the government led by John Dramani Mahama is committed to working diligently to meet the aspirations of party supporters and the wider Ghanaian public.
Mr. Alhassan,, therefore urged supporters of the party to remain patient and hopeful as the government continues efforts to respond to the needs of citizens.
