FIFA launches official mobile tickets App for World Cup 2026
FIFA has officially launched the "FWC2026 Mobile Tickets" app, the official platform for ticket holders to access, manage, and utilize their match tickets for the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
The application is now available for download on both major mobile platforms:
- Apple App Store: FWC2026 Mobile Tickets App
- Google Play Store: FWC2026 Mobile Tickets
Ticket Distribution and Availability
FIFA has advised tournament attendees that the ticket injection process — the digital delivery of purchased tickets into individual accounts — will be rolled out gradually over a number of days.
Consequently, purchasers may not see all of their ordered tickets appear simultaneously. Once an individual's tickets are successfully processed and injected into the system, the purchaser will receive detailed instructions on how to log in and download them.
To assist users with navigating the new digital interface, FIFA has released the FWC2026 Mobile Tickets App User Guide, which contains step-by-step instructions and visual screenshots.
Key App Features and Age Restrictions
The mobile platform includes a "Send your ticket(s)" feature, allowing main purchasers to forward tickets to their guests an unlimited number of times. It also includes functions for returning tickets if plans change.
A strict age restriction has been established for account registration:
- Minimum Age: Users must be at least 16 years old to register an account on the app.
- Under 16 Policy: Ticket holders under the age of 16 cannot create an independent account. Their digital tickets must be assigned to an adult guest or ticket holder who is 16 years or older. In these instances, both the minor and the adult supervisor must enter the stadium gates together.
Matchday Stadium Entry
To ensure a smooth entry process on matchdays, FIFA instructs all spectators to fully charge their mobile devices before heading to the venue and to ensure that app notifications are explicitly enabled. The unique QR code required for stadium entry will automatically become visible on the digital ticket on the day of the match, shortly before the stadium gates open for the public.
