GPL: Medeama take on Hearts of Oak May 24, receive victor's trophy May 27
Medeama Sporting Club will officially be crowned champions of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League on Wednesday, May 27, after a ceremonial match against regional rivals Basake Holy Stars at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa.
The club sealed its second league title in three seasons with a match remaining, capping another strong campaign under head coach Ibrahim Tanko.
Before the coronation ceremony, Medeama will travel to Accra for their final league fixture of the season against Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, May 24.
After the game against Basake Holy Stars, players and officials of Medeama will receive medals before lifting the Ghana Premier League trophy.
Fans are expected to gather at the TnA Stadium for the title celebration as the Tarkwa-based side marks another league success.
