Bank of Ghana to host “Remit2Invest” roundtable in the United States
The Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Johnson Pandit Asiama, is set to lead a team of experts to participate in a high-level roundtable discussion dubbed “The Central Bank Bridge: Remit2Invest.”
The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at the Hilton Alexandria in the United States.
The roundtable will focus on strategies to leverage remittances for investment, with discussions expected to explore innovative ways to channel diaspora funds into productive sectors of the Ghanaian economy.
Officials say the initiative forms part of broader efforts by the central bank to deepen financial inclusion and promote sustainable economic growth through diaspora engagement.
The event will begin at 4:00 PM EST and will be streamed live across all official social media platforms of the Bank of Ghana to enable wider participation.
