A delegation from the Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA) has paid a courtesy visit to Bunge Loders Croklaan (BLC) to commemorate the company’s 10th anniversary as a Free Zone Enterprise.

The visit, held on March 31, 2026, was led by the Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of Finance and Administration, Musah Sibiri Hamidu.

The GFZA team was received by BLC’s General Manager, Santana Kumar Bhuyan, along with other senior officials, including Industrial Controller Peter Omari Asiamah, HR Business Partner (MEA) Zachariah Adomako, and Quality and Food Safety Manager for West Africa Nelly E. Kurd Marckay.

Discussions during the visit focused on strengthening collaboration, promoting sustainable industrial practices, and exploring future investment opportunities within Ghana’s Free Zones framework.

Bunge Loders Croklaan, a shea nut processing company operating on a 24-hour basis, has been recognised for its contribution to Ghana’s industrial development over the past decade.

The company has also implemented several Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, including training rural women in shea processing, constructing boreholes, renovating classroom blocks, and supporting youth-led recycling initiatives that convert plastic waste into fabric and school bags.

The engagement highlighted a decade of partnership between GFZA and BLC, underscoring the company’s operational excellence and its role in promoting value-added exports and local economic development.

The GFZA delegation included Director of Corporate Affairs, PR and Aftercare, Patience Agbleze Acorlor; Director of the Tema Export Processing Zone, Adu Ntiamoah; Senior Manager for Corporate Affairs, Bilal Muazu Sulemana; and members of the Authority’s Aftercare Team.
