Accra High Court adjourns Daddy Lumba injunction case to May 14
The injunction case surrounding the planned Life Celebration of late Ghanaian music icon Daddy Lumba has been adjourned by the Accra High Court to May 14, 2026.
The adjournment is to allow the court to determine whether newly installed Abusuapanin, Kwabena Brefo, will be permitted to join the ongoing legal proceedings.
Kwabena Brefo has officially filed an application seeking to be added to the suit.
If the court grants his request on the next adjourned date, a new timeline will be set for directions toward the full hearing of the case.
Speaking in a video sighted online by Classfmonline.com, Kwabena Brefo urged family members and the general public to remain calm and allow the legal process to take its course.
According to him, there had been expectations that the matter would be concluded during the latest court sitting.
However, upon arrival, it became clear that a new application had been filed, leading to the adjournment.
He emphasised the need for patience, stating that the family should stay quiet and wait for the lawyers to present their arguments in court.
