Aluta 107.7 FM launched in Nkonya to boost local media landscape

A new radio station, Aluta 107.7 FM, has been officially launched at Nkonya in the Biakoye District of the Oti Region, marking a significant addition to the area’s media landscape.

The station, which is the second under the Cle Multimedia Broadcasting Group, is owned by entrepreneur, development consultant and National Peace Ambassador, Clemence Gyato.

The launch event brought together key political and religious figures, including the Deputy Volta Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Egyptious Komla Kudoto; Member of Parliament for Biakoye Constituency, Jean-Marie Formadi; Volta Regional Minister, James Gunu; and Oti Regional Minister, John Kwadwo Gyapong.

The station was officially launched by renowned preacher, Lawrence Tetteh, who commended the initiative and underscored the importance of media in promoting development, peace and community engagement.

On his part, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Mr Gilbert Aggrey, highlighted the role of radio in informing, educating and empowering local communities, expressing optimism that Aluta 107.7 FM would serve as a vital platform for development-oriented programming in the region.
