Black Sherif says love will guide his choice of marriage partner, not religion
Ghanaian musician Black Sherif has spoken about his outlook on marriage, stating that when the time comes, his decision will be based entirely on love rather than religious affiliation or societal pressure.
The “Kwaku the Traveller” hitmaker explained that his choice of a life partner will not be influenced by whether the person is Christian or Muslim, emphasizing that emotional connection will be the only factor he considers.
He described his stance on marriage as firm, noting that once he is certain about love, the decision becomes “non-negotiable,” regardless of background differences.
Black Sherif also revealed that he does not have a specific timeline for marriage, adding that he believes the timing will ultimately be determined by God.
In a resurfaced interview on Drive on Joy, he addressed questions about relationships and the qualities he values in a partner, making it clear that personal feelings outweigh external expectations,he said.
