Kofi Adjorlolo on music being 'first love', performing with Ambolley
Kofi Adjorlolo, movie veteran, has revealed in the beginning he desired to be a musician, and not an actor.
On the Elizabeth Essuman-hosted The Liz Show, Adjorlolo added people around him while he grew up looked forward to seeing him become a singer given his demonstrable unique talent.
Taking right to the trumpet from an early age, he noted he had shared a stage with Highlife icons like his compatriot Gyedu Blay Ambolley and Nigeria’s Sir Victor Uwaifo.
"I love music so much that as of 8-years-old, I could play the trumpet so well,” he said.
On film, the multiple award-winning actor made yet another surprising revelation when he said he would not entertain his children walking his path professionally.
“Honestly, I wouldn't encourage my children to go into acting. The current situation in Ghana isn't encouraging, attractive, or enabling for young ones to thrive in this field,” the filmmaker explained.
“Do we even have insurance to back our actors and actresses?"
